For all the metal or hard rock fans out there im sure tat you have youre own bands that your into..but i thought i would inform you of some bands that you should look into!
1. IN FLAMES- a melodic swedish death metal band from Gothenberg, Sweden. great music, not to hard to listen to, great vocals unlike the other metal bands out there
2.SOILWORK-another band that is a good listen, both soilwork and in flames are under the same label, and they both work closley, more like a big group of friends with in two different bands
3. Children of Boddom- a VERY differnt music style then the two previous bands, great guiter riffs mixed together with a electronics type of piano cover....great for driving down the road with friends
4.PANTERA- EVERYONE should know about this band, if you dont then you fail at life, especially if you call yourself a metal fan, the 2 most important parts of a band,the drums and the lead guitar, are prefformed by 2 brothers on guitar: "Dimebag" Darrel Abott (R.I.P brother), and on drums Vinnie Paul abbot...both are GREAT musicians and unfortunatley we had Dime taken from us at a concert in 2004! worship this band!!
5.Dark Tranquillity- also an affiliate of In Flames and SOILWORK, great music, but i know that a few people might get turned off by the vocals....but once you get used to the vocals they a re a great band!
6.Trivium-great thrash metal, best when listend to when out doing stupid sh!t with your frineds
7.ROB ZOMBIE-a completly differnt playing style then the previous bands, but a great artist the same. all his music is absolutly genious, and a recommened that you by them all!
8.NIGHTWISH-now this band is really only for those select few metal-heads that actually enjoy all types of metal. GREAT music and the two vocal stlyes incorporated into the songs are BEAST to say the least. think of a mix between an opera singer and a LEGENED metal band!! ( SIDE NOTE: the older stuff by them is MUCH better than there new stuff, Tarja Trunnen is a much better singer tahn ther new vocalist!)
9.Metallica- a very widley knownband, but they deserve an honerable mention because they have great music to listen to! and its such a wide variety of songs!
10.Rammstein- you dont have to under stand this german bands lyrics to appreciate the music, but they are a great listen!!!
